CJG birthed Ember & Exodus: An Evolving Revolutionary Recovery Journey with the vision of creating a nurturing, spiritually grounded, community-centered agency for individuals impacted by untreated behavioral health and substance use disorders. Our mission is bold: to serve the forgotten, restore the broken, and lead families back to themselves through purpose-aligned recovery.
Initially, I planned to fund the building and startup expenses through my primary employment. Unfortunately, due to poor leadership and ethical concerns, I had to halt that plan to protect my integrity and purpose. While I’ve embraced the brick-by-brick journey with resilience and faith, I now turn to the power of collective support.
Ember & Exodus is led by Dr. Tomika D. Hardy, LMSW, LAC, Master Life Coach, and Licensed REALTOR®, CEO and visionary of this revolutionary movement. I am deeply committed to reimagining recovery through spiritual strategy, trauma-informed care, and Black-centered wellness. With a unique blend of clinical expertise, lived experience, and systemic insight, I’ve witnessed what happens when healing becomes transactional, and I’m here to ensure it becomes transformational.
Through a powerful partnership with Homes & Healing, Ember & Exodus will not only offer direct addiction counseling and coaching services but will also ensure access to safe, structured, and emotionally nurturing environments where recovery is possible. Together, we are building more than treatment, we are creating sanctuaries of healing, belonging, and restoration.
Ember & Exodus operates under Connecting Journeys Global (CJG)—a broader initiative committed to rebuilding family systems, creating educational pathways for oppressed communities, and initiating spiritual revolutions in recovery, purpose, and housing.
